Renal Therapy

Renal Therapy

Renal replacement therapy (RRT) is therapy that aides the normal filtering function of the kidneys. It is used when the kidneys are not working well--which is called renal failure--and includes acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease.

For the past 30 years, Lima Memorial Renal Services has been widely recognized as a leader in comprehensive hospital-based renal care, and we continue to grow, expand and advance our services and technology.

Our renal replacement therapy services range from:

  • provisional care and treatment plans for patients who have been diagnosed with early kidney failure
  • kidney dialysis services for people with chronic kidney disease
  • training for some renal failure patients to care for themselves using peritoneal dialysis at home

We also work with multiple hospitals to help coordinate kidney transplants.
